Man Takes Self to Hospital With Knife Wound After Fight Near Green Street T

The 21-year-old victim, whose injuries were not life-threatening, would not cooperate with police about his assailant.

A fight near left one man with a knife wound.

Today at 12:43 p.m., police officers were called to the Green Street MBTA Station for a report of two men fighting. The men were gone when officers arrived, but officers did find blood.

Later, a 21-year-old checked himself in to New England Baptist Hospital with a non life-threatening knife wound. He said he had been in an altercation, but would not cooperate further with the police investigation.

"Preliminary investigation indicated the two may have been known to each other," said Officer James Kenneally.
