Man Shot on Bragdon Street

Police say a man was wounded by gunfire at Bragdon and Miles streets on Tuesday night. The injury is not life-threatening.

For the second time in a week, a man has been shot on the border between JP and Roxbury.

On Tuesday about 6:20 p.m. police say a man was wounded at Bragdon and Miles streets. He was taken to Boston Medical Center for treatment, said David Estrada of the Boston Police Department.

No suspect was in custody Tuesday night, Estrada said.

Persons who have information about the shooting are asked to call detectives at 617-343-5628 or the anonymous tip line at 1-800-494-TIPS.

Tuesday's violence comes after a fusillade of shots on Thursday night at 166 Terrace St. left six cars riddled with bullets and one man recovering from a leg wound.
