Man Shot in Leg on Washington Street

Warrants are out for two suspects, police say.

Just after 10 pm last night, a man walked into the emergency room with a gunshot wound to his left leg, Boston Police said.

A witness who was with the man said the attack took place at 3888 Washington St., just on the Roslindale side of the border with JP, as he and the victim walked toward the , police said.

A man wearing a red sweater and having a long ponytail fired several shots, one of them striking the leg of the victim, police said. There was also another man with the shooter. The suspects ran away in an unknown direction.

However, witnesses recognized the assailants and warrants are being drawn for their arrest, police said.
