Kenneth Soto, 19, of JP, Named as Victim of Fatal Stabbing

Boston Police have identified the man found mortally wounded Sunday morning outside the 7-Eleven in Hyde Square as Kenneth Soto, 19, of JP.

Police have identified the mortally wounded man found outside the Hyde Square 7-Eleven as Kenneth "Black" Soto, 19, of Jamaica Plain.

Police said the man was pronounced dead at Brigham & Women's Hospital after being stabbed "multiple times." He was found Sunday morning at 4:22 a.m.

Police ask anyone who can help in the investigation to call detectives at 617-343-4470. People can also call an anonymous tip line at 800-494-TIPS or text the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).

Friends of the victim have created a Facebook page in his memory. Other memorials are coming in via Twitter at #RIPBlack. Please note that use of this hashtag predates the death of Kenneth Soto, so not all these tweets are necessarily about his death.
