Jamaicaway Collision Sends Two Adults, One Child to Hospital
Inbound traffic was closed off for some time, according to Boston Police.
Two adults and a child were sent to the hospital, all with minor injuries, following an accident on the Jamaicaway this morning.
The child, six years-old, was in the car with his grandfather when it collided head-on with a vehicle driven by a woman with no passengers.
State Police believe the accident was weather-related, due to this morning's rainfall.

The "Jaws of Life" were used to remove the door from the grandfather's car, according to a Boston Fire Department spokesman.
The collision occurred at 300 Jamaicaway, with first responders receiving the first call at 7:55 a.m.

The child was taken to Children's Hospital. The adults were taken separately to Faulkner Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital.
At least inbound traffic was closed off for a period of time, according to State Police. The site was cleared at about 8:45 a.m., according to State Police, and traffic is mostly back to normal, though this morning's rain is still causing problems around Jamaica Pond.
Another accident, this one minor, occurred this morning at the rotary where the Arborway and Centre Street meet, and there were no injuries, according to Boston Police.
