JP Man, Shot in or Near Beverly, Won't Cooperate with Cops

A Jamaica Plain man who showed up at Beverly Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his right thigh has given minimal information to police, according to the Salem News.

BEVERLY — A Jamaica Plain man who sought treatment at Beverly Hospital Wednesday for a gunshot wound hasn't been very cooperative with police, according to the Salem News.

A Beverly Police officer said the 22-year-old victim "reported being shot while at a playground in Beverly with a friend but did not know the exact location."

The man was shot in the right thigh.
