Jamaica Plain Man Killed In Early Morning Crash In Quincy

Plymouth man arrested in connection with crash.

State Police are investigating an early morning car crash in Quincy, that left a Jamaica Plain man dead and two others seriously injured.

Police have not yet released the name of the deceased.

A 28-year-old Plymouth man, however, has been arrested for drunk driving and other charges in connection with the crash.

According to a State Police, reports indicate that shortly after 12:30 a.m. this morning, “a 2007 Chevy Silverado was traveling south on Quincy Shore Drive and crossed over into the northbound lane, striking a 1995 Ford Explorer [driven by the Jamaica Plain man].

Each car was carrying one passenger. Both passengers were seriously injured and taken to Boston Medical Center, State Police reported.
