Jamaica Plain Man Charged in Connection with North End Stabbing

The incident occurred shortly after midnight Sunday

A Jamaica Plain man has been charged with assault with intent to kill after allegedly stabbing another man early Sunday morning in Boston's North End, the Boston Herald reported

Police arrested John Driscoll, 29, of Jamaica Plain, on accusations that he stabbed a 25-year-old Waltham man in the upper body shortly after midnight Sunday during a fight in the area of Blackstone and Hanover streets, according to the report. 

Details on the condition of the victim was not immediately available Sunday, and Driscoll is due to be arraigned Monday in Boston Municipal Court as he faces charges of assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to the Herald.
