Jamaica Plain Man Busted for Selling Heroin in Watertown

Police set up a bust because they suspected the man was selling drugs around town.

WATERTOWN — Watertown Police arrested a man suspected of selling heroin in and around Watertown.

Angel L. Vega, 31, of Jamaica Plain, was arrested on July 23 at 6:05 p.m. when he allegedly sold a small bag of heroin to an undercover officer, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. The bust took place at Aldrich Road and Watertown Street, near Casey Park.

The bust was made by the Watertown Police in conjunction with the Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force, Lawn said.

Vega, of 38 Mozart St. Apt. 1 in Jamaica Plain, faces charges of possession of a Class A drug, possession to distribute a Class A drug, a drug violation near a park, and distributing a Class A drug, Lawn said.
