iPhone Stolen in Moss Hill Mugging

The victim was OK; the suspect fled toward the Manning School.

A Louders Lane resident’s iPhone was stolen after she was mugged late Tuesday night.

The victim had walked to her home on Louders Lane from Centre Street at about 10 p.m.  She was in her yard talking to her boyfriend on her iPhone when someone approached her and hit her in the head – the temple area and mouth several times with a closed fist, according to a police report.

The suspect snatched the phone and took off toward Manning Elementary School, according to the report.

The victim refused medical attention.

Police describe the suspect as a 30-year-old white Hispanic male with green eyes, who is 5-foot-7-inches tall, 170 pounds and was wearing a dark green hat, white T-shirt and khaki pants.
