PHOTOS: Car Crashes on Hyde Park Avenue in Jamaica Plain
The area Walk Hill and Hyde Park Avenue saw a lot of police activity over the weekend, including a one-car wreck on Sunday night after a homicide on Friday.
One person was taken to the hospital for observation after a car struck a pole in the median of Hyde Park Avenue late Sunday night, according to Boston Police.
The one-car wreck took place about 11 p.m. at the corner of Hyde Park and Walk Hill.
It was a busy weekend for that corner of the neighborhood, with a heavy police presence since Friday evening, when police responded to reports of shots fired at 132 Hyde Park Ave. Police found a man in his 20s dead from a gunshot wound.
