Elderly Man, Firefighter Injured in Jamaica Plain Blaze

An elderly man and a firefighter was injured in a fire on Bynner Street early Saturday morning.


A Jamaica Plain firefighter was reportedly injured early Saturday morning while battling a two-alarm fire on Bynner Street, Fox 25 is reporting.

At 1:48 a.m., local firefighters responded to a report of a fire in a first-floor apartment at 104 Bynner St.

An elderly resident in the apartment where the fire originated was rescued by firefighters and hospitalized, according to Fox 25.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
