Driver Has Heart Attack, Ties Up Jamaicaway

State Police and Boston firefighters responded to a man going into cardiac arrest. The man reportedly could not be revived before being sent to hospital.

A driver who had a heart attack while driving on the Jamaicaway Saturday just before 6 p.m. reportedly could not be resuscitated by emergency personnel.

Massachusetts State Police responded to a medical incident at 5:55 p.m. Saturday, said State Police spokesman Trooper Thomas Murphy.

"There was a report of a man slumped over the wheel," said Murphy, who added that he could not give further information because the State Police does not release details of medical incidents.
