Bragdon Street Fire Did $10,000 Damage

The following arrest information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The police log for last Thursday, Feb. 9, included a small fire at 91 Bragdon St. The fire started around noon in the front entrance to the third floor apartment, according to Steve MacDonald, spokesman for the Boston Fire Department.

The fire started in rubber mats, which burned on the floor and produced "a tremendous amount of smoke," MacDonald said. The fire did $10,000 damage and no one was hurt.

Bragdon is in Roxbury, but in an area off Amory Street widely considered to be Jamaica Plain.
