Custom Bicycle Worth $12K Stolen From JP
There are only two of this kind of bike in the area, tweeted a Boston Police official.
A custom made bicycle worth $12,000 has gone missing from Jamaica Plain, according to police officials.
Captain John Greland tweeted Friday: "$12,000 bike stolen E13, only two of kind in Boston Area call E13 617-343-5628 if located." The tweet included a photo of the bicycle.
According to tweets from Peter Wilson (@peteswire), managing editor at WBZ, the bike is made from carbon fiber and "was stolen from a home during a B/E."
