Grinch Grabs Presents Off Porch
The following arrest information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
The lead item in the police blotter for last Saturday, which was Christmas Eve, was the arrest of a man police say stole presents that had just been delivered to the porch of a home in the area of Patten and Bourne streets. Ernest Polite, 7 Washington St. HS, Hyde Park, was arrested and charged with larceny (other, $50-199).
Other incidents from Dec. 24 included:
- 11 Bourne St. / Larceny (other, over $200) / Dec. 24, 7:50 am
- 30 Montebello Road / Theft of a bicycle ($200 and over) / Dec. 24, 1:30 am
- 20 Merriam St. / Residential break-in (force used) / Dec. 24, 1 pm
- 562 Centre St. / Assault and battery to the hands, feed, etc. Medical attention required. / Dec. 24, 9:26 pm
