Carjacking in Jackson — JP Police Blotter: Wednesday-Thursday (July 27-28)

The following arrest information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police reports from Wednesday and Thursday include an armed carjacking at Lamartine and Centre streets on July 27 at 4:05 p.m. Orlando Pizzaro, 30 Packer St. #3, Brockton, was arrested and charged with street robbery with a firearm. According to Universal Hub, the robber asked a passenger in an idled car for a cigarette. The assailant then pulled a gun and took the car. Police spotted the car in Hyde Park and captured the suspect after a foot chase, according to Universal Hub.
