Bulger Won't Testify
The former head of the Winter Hill Gang called the trial a "sham," according to media reports.

Gangster James "Whitey" Bulger will not testify in the federal trial that accuses him of murder, racketeering and weapons violations, according to multiple media sources, including Boston.com.
Boston Herald reporter Laurel Sweet reported on Twitter that Bulger, speaking in court Friday, said, "As far as I'm concerned, I didn't get a fair trial and this is a sham. Do what youse want with me."
Sweet reported that closing arguments will take place Monday, and the case will go to the jury on Tuesday.
The trial began June 12 and was originally projected to go into September.
Also in court Friday, Bulger offered the $822,000 in cash found hidden in his Santa Monica, Calif., apartment, where he hid from authorities for years, to relatives of his alleged victims,Boston.com and WBUR reported.
