Boston Police Investigating Fatal Jamaica Plain Shooting

The incident occurred early Sunday morning in the area of School and Arcadia streets.

The Boston Police Department is looking for the public's help as it investigates a fatal shooting in Jamaica Plain this past weekend. 

Officers from the Boston Police Department's District E-13 in Jamaica Plain responded to a radio call for two individuals shot in the area of School and Arcadia streets around 1:50 a.m. on Sunday morning, police said in a statement.

Responding officers found two 24-year-old male victims suffering from gunshot wounds, both of whom were transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital, where one of the victims was pronounced deceased. The second, police said, suffered non life-threatening injuries. The incident does not appear to be random, said police, adding that they are actively investigating the incident.
