Boston Police Arrest Two From Dorchester After Arnold Arboretum Robbery

Boston police officers from District E-13 in Jamaica Plain arrested two Dorchester residents on Monday after responding to a robbery at the entrance of the Arnold Arboretum. 

Officers on scene spoke with two victims, who said that, as they were leaving the Arboretum, they were approached by unknown Hispanic males, who reportedly grabbed at their waistbands indicating they may have been armed, and one of whom allegedly demanded valuables, Boston Police said

The three suspects then allegedly pushed the victims to the ground and fled the area on bicycles, and police were able to locate them in Roslindale on Washington Street.

Police arrested Cesar Lara-Aguasvivas, 20, of Dorchester, and a 14-year-old juvenile male from Dorchester, both for armed robbery and buying, receiving or concealing stolen goods. 

Officers were able to recover the victims' possessions and a cell phone, police said
