Boston Fire Dept., Families Honor Fallen Firefighters in Weekend Ceremony
Firefighters honored Lt. Edward Walsh and Firefighter Michael Kennedy in Jamaica Plain.
Members of the Boston Fire Department this weekend honored two of their own who died in the line of duty this past spring.
At Forest Hills Cemetery in Jamaica Plain, firefighters placed flowers on graves in memory of Lt. Edward Walsh and Firefighter Michael Kennedy who died battling a large fire in Back Bay in March, according to WHDH.
The names of the two firefighters were later revealed to be on memorial tablets at a ceremony in Dorchester, according to the report.

Kenned's father, Paul Kennedy, was at the event, as was Walsh's family, the Boston Globe reported.
