Boston Fire Department Responds to Smoke at Hebrew Rehab Center

No fire, no one hurt, but smoky conditions caused BFD personnel to visit scene.

Smoky conditions caused Boston Fire Departments crews to set upon the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center shortly after 5 p.m. today. 

BFD Spokesperson Steve MacDonald said there was no fire, but smoke was showing. He said no one was evacuated. 

NStar is currently on the scene to determine the cause of the fire.

The Center is located at 1200 Centre St., Roslindale, but the location used to be designated as being in West Roxbury, before a zip code change in the last two years.
