Boston Fire Department Photos of Porch Collapse
A collapse at 3 Nira Ave. in Jamaica Plain sent 16 people to the hospital.
A porch collapsed at 3 Nira Ave. in Jamaica Plain last night, sending 16 people to be treated at hospitals, according to a Tweet by Boston Emergency Medical Services. An EMS official on the scene gave the number as 12, some of them with serious injuries.
These photos were taken by the Boston Fire Department and posted on their Facebook page.
City building inspectors are working to figure out the cause of the collapse.
