The murder trial of Edward Corliss, a 65-year-old paroled killer, continued Monday.

Prosecutors say Corliss shot and killed Tedeschi clerk Surendra Dangol during a robbery of the Monument convenience store in 2009.

Testimony today included a ballistics expert who said the bullet that killed Dangol matched a gun found on Revere Beach. Detective Martin Lydon testified that test firings of the gun yielded patterns on a test bullet that match the bullet pulled from Dangol's body. Prosecutors claim Corliss got rid of his gun by throwing it in the ocean in Revere.
