Arrest Made in Murder of Jamaica Plain's Kenneth Soto

Police arrested Hector Soto, no relation, and charged the Roslindale man with murder on Monday.

Police have made an arrest in a murder outside that shocked the neighborhood.

In the early morning of Oct. 19, 2011, police found 19-year-old Kenneth Soto outside the 451 Centre St. convenience store. Kenny "Black" Soto, as he was known to friends, was remembered as a who had been active in the Hyde Square Task Force.

On Monday, police arrested Hector Soto, 20, of Roslindale and charged him with murder. He is not related to the victim, police say.
