1 Injured in Overnight Pond Circle Fire

A home sustained over $600,000 with of damage.

A firefighter sustained non-life threatening injuries fighting a fire at a residence on Pond Circle overnight, according to reports.

The blaze began around 1 a.m. at 14 Pond Circle; the first floor eventually collapsed into the basement of the dwelling, according to tweets from the Boston Fire Department.

The injured firefighter is reported to be from Boston’s Engine 28.

The fire was knocked down at 3:12 a.m.

The home sustained $650,000, according to a report.  Two people lived at the home; neither was home at the time of the blaze.
