Bruins Seidenberg presents $30,000 check to the MSPCA

This morning Boston Bruins Foundation director Bob Sweeney and player/dog lover Dennis Seidenberg trekked to the MSPCA in Jamaica Plain to present a check for $30,000 -- one of the largest one-time donations to the MSPCA’s shelter this year -- the result of a 2014 "Pucks and Paws" calendar featuring players posing with adoptable dogs from the shelter.  The team printed and sold 5,000 copies of the calendar at the end of 2013, and the calendar sold out in two months.

And now the foundation is rewarding the MSPCA with a large donation that will help care for over 14,000 homeless animals who come in every year in need of medical care before they can be adopted into forever homes.
