How Tall is Jamaica Plain Compared to Other Neighborhoods?

Did you know that Jamaicaway Tower stands 29 stories tall?

We can argue whether or not the Prudential Tower is an attractive structure—it isn't, but you're allowed to disagree—but Back Bay's Hancock Place stands, unarguably, as the Boston's tallest building.

It also notches in as the 50th-tallest building in the country. The Prudential Tower stands as the country's 77th tallest.

When you think of JP, about the highest structures that come to mind are triple deckers. But we are of course home to , which stands 29 stories. (That's according to city statistics — it touts itself as 30 stories in real estate listings.) You can find out more about the tower at the building's Web site.

Check the list below to see how high the other Boston neighborhoods reach.
