Community Corner

You Can Grow Habitat

You are invited to join Jeremy Dick, BNAN’s Director of Property and Horticulture, on Saturday, April 14, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Minton Stables Community Garden, 110 Williams Street, Jamaica Plain, for a FREE workshop on how to create habitat in your neighborhood.

Habitat is maximized when you plant trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants together in an integrated landscape.  This practical program will cover design, soil preparation and planting techniques for establishing attractive, ecologically relevant plantings in urban areas that will support many of these essential species. Registration is required.
