Community members can make a difference in the lives of local cancer patients by volunteering for the American Cancer Society. An American Cancer Society representative will discuss volunteer opportunities available through the Society’s patient support programs and services, such as providing patients with transportation to and from their chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments through the Road to Recovery program, and informing local patients of the of the resources available to them through the Society as a Cancer Resource Volunteer.
