Shayna Bredbeck in Boston Children's Theatre's production of HAIR August 9 - 11

‘Let the sunshine in’ on 15-year old Shayna Bredbeck of
Jamaica Plain who is appearing in Boston Children’s Theatre’s (BCT) production
of the Tony® Award winning musical HAIR
HAIR will be performed at
August 9, 10 and 11 at The Governor’s Academy in Byfield, MA.



Cast in the role of ‘Mom 1,’ Shayna has been seen in BCT’s
productions of Legally Blonde and Reflections of a Rock Lobster.  With Meridian Academy she has performed in Metamorphoses and Blood Wedding, and at Boston Arts Academy where she is a student,
she has received the 2013 Artist Scholar Award and The Theatre Award for
Overall Excellence in Theatre.



Featuring such chart topping songs as “Aquarius,”  “Let the Sunshine In,” and “Good Morning,
Starshine,” HAIR is the ultimate
rock musical.  With book and lyrics by
James Rado and Gerome Ragni and music by Galt MacDermot, HAIR is a celebration of youth and their search for peace, truth
and love in the tumultuous Vietnam era.  
HAIR is directed by Burgess
Clark with choreography by Aly Struyk and music direction by Austin Davy.

HAIR will be performed by a cast of 30 performers between the ages of 14 and 19 at
The Governor’s Academy, 1 Elm Street, Byfield, MA.  Performances are Friday, August 9 at 8:00 pm,
Saturday, August 10 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, August 11 at 2:00 pm.  Tickets are $20 and $15 for adults and $15
and $10 for students.  For tickets and
