Screening with Filmmaker of Sundance film A Fierce Green Fire: The Battle for a Living Planet

Join Clean Water Action on Friday, August 2,
for the film A Fierce Green
Fire, The Battle
for a Living Planet with
a talk by filmmaker Mark Kitchell. Trailer and other movie
information can be viewed here.

A Fierce Green Fire documents the
development of the worldwide environmental movement over the last half century
by looking at five key efforts, and culminates into the present campaigning
around the world on climate change. In this context, the film ties into the ongoing
fight in our state to phase out coal-burning power plants.

This is an accessible location.  Refreshments will be served. This event is

free and open to the public. However, a suggested donation of $5-10+ would help
Clean Water reach a matching grant goal for work to transition away from coal
burning in Massachusetts. 11a Film, 12:15p Discussion with Director Mark Kitchell.
