Community Corner
Parks and Open Space Mayoral Forum
Hear what candidates will do when they become mayor to benefit parks and open space in Boston. We know there's a demand for more neighborhood greenspace and community gardens, a backlog of capital needs, a barebones maintenance budget, and little funding for park programs. Open space is vital to the fabric of our diverse neighborhoods and cannot be overlooked. Let's pack the room to send the candidates and the press the message that parks count! All candidates except David James Wyatt have confirmed their participation.
The event will be moderated by Architectural College President Ted Landsmark. Reception begins at 6:30pm and event starts at 7:00pm. RSVP: mail@bostonparks.org.
