Mount Pleasant Home, a non-profit elder care home in Jamaica Plain, will be hosting their 18th Annual Backyard Party on Sunday, September 8, 2013, from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The entire Jamaica Plain community is invited to attend this FREE event.
This year’s Backyard Party theme is country western with a country western band, clowns, face painting, pony rides, and a moon bounce. The MPH chefs will prepare a delicious western inspired cookout.
Mount Pleasant Home’s mission since 1901 has been to provide housing and service options for low-income elders regardless of ethnicity or religion. As a residential care home, Mount Pleasant Home emphasizes quality service to a diverse population, with the goal of encouraging elders to live as independently as possible in a safe and nurturing environment.
