Community Corner

Last Outdoor Egleston Farmers Market this year!

It's our last week outside before we take a break and come back as a winter market on November 2.

We have a great day planned with a lot of activities to keep the kids busy, food trucks for brunch or lunch (Green Bean and Taco Party), the Community Bread Oven will be there to make "brick oven" pizzas with kids, and our vendors will have lots of great stuff on offer.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • sugar pumpkins from Buckle Farm
  • huge bounty of peppers of all kinds from John Crow Farm
  • foraged mushrooms with the John Crow Farm
  • dog sushi with Lil' Baci
  • clever confections with Spindler Confections
  • pumpkin painting ($5 suggested donation)
  • scarecrow making ($10 suggested donation)
  • brick oven pizzas with Community Bread Oven
  • COMMUNITY COMPOSTING with Greenovate Boston

We hope you'll come down and help make our last week outside our best week.

Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement about the vendors who will be coming inside with us this winter (just a mere 3 weeks away, starting on 11/2).
