Junot Díaz's "Drown" – Free Collage Workshop

Join local artists Roberto Chao and Deymirie Hernández
and make collages inspired by “Drown,” stories by Junot Díaz. The
workshop is bilingual, in English/Spanish. Participants with all levels
of art experience are welcome. Read the stories and bring your imagination. We'll supply paper, scissors, glue and collage materials. Bring your own materials as well if you like.

JP Reads
is coordinating a month of events around “Drown.” It’s a
community-based initiative engaging the Jamaica Plain neighborhood in
reading a single book. This workshop is presented by the Eliot School of Fine & Applied Arts.

Art created in the workshop may be exhibited at JP Branch Library.
