Free Portrait Shoot/Food Drive

Food drive donation gets
you a free portrait session with AWeaver Photography this Saturday
during Sweat JP's Open Studio.

Food Drive supports JP's APAC Food Pantry  APAC’s Food Pantry is a part of Boston’s ABCD offices.  This Centre Street pantry directly supports our neighbors in need.

Although the pantry accepts all types of new food donations, we are collecting new, unopened infant formula; baby food; powdered milk; canned or boxed fruits; canned vegetables, fish, and soup; canned or dried beans; nuts; pasta; jar sauces; cereal; oatmeal; or other non-perishable food items.

In exchange, the shoot will be set up in our studio for those who donate.

Each shoot will be approximately 5 minutes (or more time-permitting).  Background will be white with  optional holiday and other props (Santa hats, Christmas or winter themed etc.) available for use.  If you’d like to bring your own small props, please feel free. Infants through adults welcome.

Tips for a Succesful Portrait Shoot
-Avoid clothing with logos or too many images.  Typically, simple & textured clothing photographs well.  If shooting multiple people consider wearing complimentary (although exact matching is not necessarily recommended) wardrobes.

-If you are bringing your kids, feed them first.  Hungry kids can make for rough photo shoots.

-Bring special small toys or clothes that will put your kids at ease.

-Don’t stress it.  Some of the best portraits are taken of winter hats & favorite sweaters, onesies & santa hats, or parents and children laughing over a silly song. Relax, have fun and use personal language with your kids which will help them, and you, enjoy the shoot.

Use of photos
Photos will be added to AWeaver Photography’s portfolios but will not be used or posted on the websites or social media pages of WikidFit or Sweat JP without optional, express written consent.
