Local Jamaica Plain author Myra Love will read from her new book, Other People's Dreams. In the novel, Virginia Carr wanted nothing to do with Grant’s Hill or Leticia, her high school sweetheart. A claim that Leticia has committed murder and Virginia’s aging father’s refusal of medical treatment draw Virginia and her partner Carolyn back to the town that Virginia was so eager to leave. Myra Love speaks to the changes that parents and grown children confront when age and illness shift their dynamic. Copies of the book can be purchased at www.lulu.com.
