Volunteers needed!

From Orion Kriegman, who is coordinating volunteers for SOON 2013:

Hi Friends,

You have either helped out in the past, or offered to help out this year. Either way, we need your help!

We need people to help Usher at the event - welcoming folks, registering information on clip boards, handing out name tags, putting up signs, helping set up tables (arrive 1/2 hour early).

We need people to help with Outreach - flyering at T-stops or community events (we have the flyers to get to you!)

We need people to help with Clean-up (stay 1/2 hour late)

Please let me know if you can help. Volunteers are asked to wear RED at the event, and Deborah Frieze is our volunteer coordinator and will be there 1/2 hour early to help assign tasks.

As a bonus, we will have the audio from Obama's state of the union address live streaming as we clean-up (and might be able to stay and watch the video).

If anyone wants to join me, I will be at the Egleston Farmers Market this Saturday from 11-2pm, to flyer. It is more fun to do together. I also plan to be at the Stony Brook T-stop on Friday, and at 1st Thursday on Centre Street this Thursday.

So let me know!
Your help is amazing and is what makes our community work!
Thanks so much,
Orion
