Boston Bikes Presents First Women's Learn-to-Ride Free Clinic

Boston Bikes’ new women’s bike initiative is pleased to present its free first-ever Learn-to-Ride Women’s Biking Clinic, Tuesday July 29th. This is the first of two  summer clinics Boston Bikes is hosting, all geared towards those who can’t remember the last time they were on a bike, or have never actually learned to ride.Participants can come to a free learn-to-ride clinic for women, taught by women. Boston Bikes’ experienced staff and volunteers will help each participant gain the skills and confidence to get on a bike and keep on rolling! Bikes provided upon request.

This clinic is a part of a series of rides, biking socials, and clinics organized by the new women’s bike initiative by Boston Bikes. The goal of this campaign is to spread the joy and benefits of biking in Boston and encouraging more women to take to the streets by bike. More information can be found on the Boston Bikes’ website.

Up next is the hallmark women’s event of the year on August 16th at Millennium Park in Boston: New England’s First ever all women’s bike ride and festival. This will feature a women’s only ride, workshops, music, food, kids events and more.
