Snow on Wednesday and Thursday — Winter Storm Watch Issued for Jamaica Plain

It's been a winter of missed snow predictions, but forecasters say we should get a bit of snow Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecasters say JP could get a few inches of snow on Wednesday and Thursday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the region that includes JP. Snow would begin Wednesday, mostly after 3 p.m., with less than an inch of accumulation. Light snow would continue Wednesday night through about 11 a.m. Thursday before switching to rain. A bit more snow could then fall Thursday night.

Heavier snow is expected to the northwest of Boston.
