Is That Hail in JP?

Several on twitter are reporting that it's hailing in Jamaica Plain.

The afternoon thunderstorms have brought more than just the usual rain and wind to Jamaica Plain.

They've brought hail, according to several on Twitter.

"Pea-sized hail in Jamaica Plain," tweeted Tillie Jupiter.

"Good burst of 1/4" hail in #jamaicaplain," tweeted Derek Boudreau.

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until 6:30 p.m. Monday and a watch is in effect until 9 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
