And The Best Place to Buy Candy in Jamaica Plain Is...
No surprises here. CVS won this week's contest. But it could've easily gone to Ruggiero's or Fernandez Spa.
The results are in, and readers have chosen CVS as the Best Place in JP to Buy Candy.
But while the poll results were heavily in favor of the drug store chain's heaping mounds of candy (especially around certain holidays), three local favorites could have won had folks chimed in by rating those businesses this week.
That's because the "Best Of Patch Readers' Choice" contests don't just go by the poll. An equal weight is given to fresh ratings (of up to five stars) made the week of the contest. Even without winning the contest, though, City Feed, Ruggiero's and Fernandez Spa certainly stand out from other local convenience stores and bodegas for their candy selection.
