5 Things You Need to Know Today: April 3

Elected officials will be in JP today.

1. Mayor Menino & Sen. Warren in JP: Mayor Thomas Menino and U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren will talk with women business owners who have received Community Development Block Grant Funding at Bella Luna today at 11 a.m.

2. S. Huntington Corridor: The fourth and final meeting regarding the South Huntington Corridor Study was last night. We'll try to post some details on the meeting - and the future of the section of JP - today.

3. Job Fair: Head to English High School at 5:30 p.m. today for a free job fair.

4. Weather: It seems like winter has returned full force, and in true April fashion, it's going to stick around.

5. Esplanade Internships: The Esplanade Assoiation is looking for interns for several positions. Internships are unpaid, but a weekly travel stipend is granted. Start and end dates are flexible, as are weekly schedules, but some positions require the intern to be at the park for certain programs and events.
