JP Business Owners to Discuss City’s ‘ReStore’ Program

The city of Boston provides matching grants to help neighborhood business and property owners complete storefront renovation projects.

Jamaica Plain business owners will have a chance to learn about a city program that provides help for costly storefront renovations.

JP Centre/South Main Streets is hosting a business breakfast Thursday, Sept. 26 at JP Seafood Café at 8 a.m., to inform local business owners about Restore Boston, a city program that provides matching grants to help neighborhood business and property owners complete storefront renovation projects.

The grants go up to $7,500 per storefront.

A discussion of what businesses owners would like to see to improve the mix of businesses on the street for the next 10 years is planned as well.
