Jamaica Plain Ice Cream Shop Seeks Take-Out License

FoMu specializes in a coconut-based, non-dairy ice cream and other products.

The owners at FoMu, a vegan ice cream shop in Jamaica Plain, are looking to obtain a take-out license, according to the Jamaica Plain News

After withdrawing their application Tuesday at the Zoning Board of Appeals meeting due to the wrong address being listed on the original filing, the shop's owners plan to refile for a formality, according to the report.

Co-owner Hin Tang told Jamaica Plain News that take-out comprises only a small portion of the business, which opened in JP last April in the spot formerly occupied by sneaker shop Got Sole 1981.
