Legendary Slam Poet Saul Williams in JP Friday

For its August First Friday Open Mic night, the First Baptist JP community will set the bar rather high.

Slam poet/author/actor Saul Williams will perform Friday night at First Baptist church’s First Friday Youth Open Mic night.

The open mic night is free for performers and those under age 25. The church suggests a donation of $10 for those 25 and older, but no one will be turned away, according to the church’s Facebook page.
