Final JP Music Festival Fundraiser Honors ‘The Rat’
Bands will play music from the era of the once immensely popular Boston rock club.
The Rathskeller nightclub was a rock music icon for 23 years in Boston. This weekend, prepare to relive the glory days of “The Rat” in Jamaica Plain.
Musicians will take the stage at the Midway Café Saturday night to play music of the bands that played The Rat, an era that existed roughly between 1974 and 1997, at “Night of the Living Rat.”
The event is the final fundraiser for the third annual JP Music Festival, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 7.

The cover for the event is $10 at the door. Doors are at 8 p.m., the event is 21+.
