The Footlight Club in Jamaica Plain will perform the comedy “Dearly Departed” starting June 3 and running through June 11. “Dearly Departed” features a dysfunctional family from the Bible Belt struggling to deal with the death of the family’s patriarch, Bud Turpin. Despite their earnest efforts to pull themselves together for their father's funeral, the Turpin's other problems keep overshadowing the solemn occasion. Performances take place in Eliot Hall, 7A Eliot Street, Jamaica Plain, on June 3, 4, 10 & 11 @ 8 pm. Ticket prices range from $16-$21 and are available online or at the door.
