Boston City Singers - Classes for children who love to sing

Let us train and inspire the musician, student and ambassador in your child!

Boston City Singers, a nonprofit organization, fills a void in the after-school education of children for whom arts education is lacking.

Weekly singing classes (for ages 4-6) and chorus rehearsals (for ages 7-11) ensure students receive well-balanced music instruction coupled with performance, youth development and cultural exploration. Singers develop progressive mastery of skills with children from backgrounds different than their own, engaging hearts and minds during the critical after-school hours. Emphasis is placed on personal discipline, teamwork and group cooperation. Through ongoing mentor relationships with older youth and teachers who share common interests, singers are connected to a strong and supportive community.

Financial Aid is available. Boston City Singers ensures no child is ever excluded from Boston City Singers because of an inability to pay full tuition.

Stop by one Saturday morning to "try out" a class with your child.

Chorus programs also available in Dorchester, Hyde Park, Mattapan and North Cambridge. Boston City Singers also offers a Concert Chorus program for young people ages 11-18. Call Founder, Artistic and Education Director Jane Money for additional information.
